Regular Music Get-Togethers

Here at Finale Music School, Sheffield, we hold a wide range of regular tuition and jam groups for musicians and singers! All events are charged at £9 per participant unless specified otherwise.

Beginners’ Jam Session

Finale Music School Beginners' Jam Session takes place at the Boston Arms in Woodseats on fortnightly Mondays from 6:30-8PM. Come and join us!

Our Beginners’ Jam Session runs on fortnightly Mondays and has now moved to the Finale Music School, 656 Chesterfield Road, S8 0SB. The events have been very popular so far, with a core group of participants learning a new song each week with expert guidance from our patient, friendly tutor Lee. We still have room for new members though, and all instruments are very welcome so please do come along and join us! Finale Music School's Jazz Group takes place at The Boston Arms in Woodseats on alternate Sundays from 4:30-6PM. Come and join us!
The Finale Music Jazz Jam offers a great way to improve your ear and learn more about soloing and fancy chord voicings, in a relaxed and fun enviroment with expert guidance from our experienced, patient tutor Woody. This group will be a great gateway to more advanced musicianship for players of all levels and instruments as well as a great way to make new friends (and enjoy a tasty beer or two!). It’s on every two weeks from 2:30-4 PM and has now moved to the Finale Music School, 656 Chesterfield Road, S8 0SB. George’s Monthly Songwriting Meetup

Finale Music School's Monthly Songwriting Meetup takes place at Finale Music School in Woodseats on the second Sunday of each month from 4:30-6PM. Come and join us!
This is an informal event where songwriters, seasoned or spring chicken, can share new material and swap constructive feedback and ideas. We’ll also be setting some fun challenges to stretch your writing ability and discussing new techniques we can all use to broaden our sonic palette! This event takes place on the second Sunday of every month, beginning on the 8th of May. The group is suitable for all ages but we ask that participants under the age of 15 are accompanied by an adult. We’d love for you to come and join us so please do get in touch if you’d like to find out more or join our community Whatsapp group where you can share your songs, pick up tips, chat to other members and take part in our monthly songwriting challenges!

Lego Club

Lego Club at Finale Music School - last Sunday every month, 2 - 3:30PM If you or your kids love Lego and wish you could spend your Sunday afternoons relaxing with some like-minded builders and a huge pile of bricks, then you are exactly our kind of person and you should definitely come and join our brand new Lego club! We’ve got a HUGE pile of Lego just waiting for some enterprising brick lovers to make it into something cool so come and join us on the last Sunday every month from 2-3:30pm. No bookings needed, but please drop us a message so we have an idea of numbers.
